About This Blog

I like writing (read Typing) and here's my attempt to put up my opinion about non/important things and aspects of non/human issues.

This is the detailed blog. Alternatively, you can check the RSS Feed and also Subscribe to receive update on my Blog via Email.

At this point, there aren't any keywords or topics I target to write about. Do drop in your comments/suggestions on how I could make this place look better. Or simply email to me.

Baby In Airport Shuttle

Ever tried locating your house from an airplane approaching your ‘home’ airport? I’ve tried that. I do that. EVERY TIME. While take-off. Landing. Hovering. And fail to find anything. EVERY TIME. I can't even locate/recognize a specific area, let alone a building or a 'house'.

Cloud Computing - Taking Us Green

Posted by Rahul Desai on Sat, May 30, 2009

Cloud Computing

‘Go Green’ seems to be the Mantra of the moment. Not sure if it’s an outcome of the recession, every organization is talking about it – big time. I recently happened to attend one of Microsoft’s technology conferences - Tech.Ed 2009 (SHOW TIME!! :D), which had lots to say in this regard. (I'm curious on learning more about Symantec's role in this line. Anyway.)

An Eye In The Sky

This article is a core-IT subject with a core-professional interest for the related people. Any person outside this domain is likely to start throwing up right with the beginning of the article. Further, (obviously) most of the content is picked from a whitepaper with the market-research objective. Non-techies can drop the article right here or there's always an option of challenging your puking sensation. ITians, just dig in. I've deliberately left some points untouched/unexplained. I'd love to discuss the same, would someone raise that point.

Career in Networking

Oops! This article was supposed to be a sequel, but I’m afraid not many have read the previous one. Not an issue as such! Let that be the prequel, since the content in this article is likely to be of some actual use. Less gyan more maal!

Networking: Not Working In India?

Computer Networking

For those of my dear friends knowing little or absolutely nothing about my business, there are three divisions in my company of which, one happens to be ‘networking’ (the one that I take care of). Again, for those not having sufficient knowledge of my professional background, I happen to have post-graduated from Networking field and I have worked with a security software company as a software engineer for some time.
